depth.fm is free, with nothing locked away. A few ads and some affiliate links pay for the servers. Here's exactly how they work.

Where ads appear
- A few spaces between sections on dashboards and public profiles, and one on guide and artist pages. Each is labelled and never covers a chart.
- No pop-ups, no auto-playing video, nothing that moves the page while you read. Spaces that don't get an ad close up.
- Never on share links, embeds, sign-in, upload or settings pages.
What advertisers can know
Ads are served by Google AdSense. Google sees the page address and the usual browser details, and in the UK, EEA and Switzerland only sets cookies or personalises ads if you agree in its consent message. Your listening history is never sent to Google or any advertiser, and it is never used to pick ads.

Artist pages have links to find tickets (Ticketmaster, SeatGeek) and buy records (Amazon). Some of these are affiliate links: if you buy something, depth.fm may earn a small commission, and the price you pay is the same. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" and a note next to them. They never decide which artists or numbers you see.
